The Chronicler staff were given the opportunity to interview an AACCUP team leader namely, Dr. Joel Fernando after the Closing Ceremony. Chronicler Staff: How long have you been an Accreditor? Dr. Joel Fernando: This is my first time to be an accreditor. It was really hard but anyway it is a good experience. It is also a good training because we were able to help this institution to find their strength and weakness to help improve their programs. Chronicler Staff: How important is the accreditation Dr. Joel Fernando: It is very important because the quality for the programs are eventually if the institution will comply with the suggestions and recommendations of the accreditors. Chronicler Staff: What would be your meassage to the 5 programs included in the accreditation? Dr. Joel Fernando: They are on the right track. They just need to comply with the requirements amd recommendation that we have said. Chronicler Staff: What would be your message to all those included in this accreditation? Dr. Joel Fernando: I know it is really difficult for them to prepare all the documents buy eventually you will be able to see the benefits of subjecting your program to accreditation.
